Estcourt Waste Collectors is a family-run business that’s served KwaZulu-Natal for over 25 years. They do household and commercial waste collection, recycling across paper, plastic, metal and glass, and run a community salvage store. With a 4.9-star rating from 653 reviews, they had the reputation but no website.

The brief was simple: a fast, mobile-first site that works on slow connections, turns visitors into WhatsApp enquiries, and looks the part. The result is a front door that turns a single tap into a booked collection.

The Problem — Rank Pharmacy had been serving Estcourt and the KZN Midlands for many years with a 5-star reputation, but no website. Patients had no way to find hours, services or contact details online. An old, unclaimed Google Business Profile was showing the wrong phone number and a misspelled address, actively hurting local search ranking.

The Solution — A full 5-page static website built on HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no framework, no backend, no maintenance overhead. Three.js animated pill capsules create a clean 3D background without slowing the page. EmailJS handles the contact form with zero server costs. Cloudflare Email Routing gives the pharmacy a professional info@rankpharmacy.co.za address forwarding to the owner’s Gmail — free, instant, and permanent.

SAPC Compliance — This project required a full Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) audit against SAPC inspection standards. Eleven compliance issues were identified and fixed — including adding the Responsible Pharmacist’s name and registration numbers to the homepage, creating a POPIA-compliant Privacy Policy, a Queries & Feedback procedure with SAPC escalation details, removing testimonials (prohibited by SAPC Code of Conduct Rule 1.2.4), and rewriting content that made comparative pricing or therapeutic claims.

The Result — The site ranks on Google for “pharmacy Estcourt” and “pharmacy Estcourt KZN”. JSON-LD Pharmacy schema, BreadcrumbList, LocalBusiness schema and an areaServed GeoCircle signal serve all five pages. The Google Business Profile was found unclaimed with wrong data and is in the process of being corrected. The full SAPC compliance report was delivered to the client as a printable Word document ahead of their inspection.
